Oravi by Night

Exciting snow mobile safari from Porokylä / Järvisydän across Haukivesi lake to the small fisherman’s village Oravi. The route follows ancient hiking routes in the woods and on the ice. In Oravi we have a relaxing sauna bath in the harbor. Possibility to order a wild food dinner in Restaurant Ruukinranta. We spend the night in Oravi Apartment hotel. After breakfast the following day we return across the lake back to Porokylä.

Route: ca  70km
Available: 15th Jan - 31st Mar (depending on the snow and ice conditions)

Duration: Minibus collects you from Järvisydän at 2pm. Gear up and safari starts at 3pm. Arrival to Oravi around 5pm. Excursion ends to Porokylä next morning 12noon.
Group size:  2-14 persons
Price: 180 €/person when there are 2 persons/ snowmobile.  Extra fee 70€ for private snowmobile (1 person/ snowmobile). Children 5-12yo: 50€/ person (safari in the sledge behind the guide and extra bed in dbl)
The price includes: guide, safari clothes, shoes, helmet, sauna, accommodation in double room, breakfast. Pick up + drop off from/ to Järvisydän.
Extra: 3 course dinner starting from 36 €/person, single room supplement 28 €
